This Sunday, the 24th, whitewater kayakers will again converge on Grand Falls for an all out huck fest. Everyone is invited, the event is unofficial and if you don’t kayak there’s a great viewing area on a ledge overlooking the falls. Take as many laps as you can handle, no prizes, no competition, just all out paddling at your own risk for the reward of some adrenaline and good photos. We will be filming as well, awesome beat downs or stomped lines will certainly make the video. Pre race gathering at The Marshalls in the Forks on Saturday night. Meet in town around 9am on Sunday, converge on the falls around 10am. Grand Falls is located just above the put in for the Dead River, just park and follow the trail over the snowmobile bridge. We hope to see everyone there, kayakers or not, lets make it a big gathering this year!
